Meteksan Defense Industry Inc. was established in 2006 to unite and coordinate the defense industry projects and activities of high technology companies operating within Bilkent Holding under a single roof. The founding purpose of our company is to develop and produce local, national, independent and original high-tech products and subsystems for the Turkish Armed Forces and other security forces in the defense industry sector, in line with the vision of the Presidency of Defense Industries. The systems and subsystems we produce; It is used for command and control, communication, reconnaissance, surveillance and intelligence purposes; It is located on many platforms, especially surface and underwater platforms, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles and missile systems.
As a Bilkent Holding Group Company, all resources obtained by Meteksan Defense are transferred to Bilkent University so that more students can receive scholarships and receive the most modern education. Meteksan Defense designs and offers military radar solutions based on Radio Frequency (RF) based technologies to its customers with original technologies. The capabilities we have gained in the field of radar technologies, which have been studied since the establishment of our company, have enabled the creation of a design and testing infrastructure as well as the acquisition of system components in this field.
System solutions developed by our company that meet line-of-sight (LOS) and beyond line-of-sight (BLOS) point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and network-based communication needs; It is used in land, air, sea and missile platforms and shows high performance in harsh environmental conditions. Meteksan Defense, which has been assigned with the approach of "Turkey's Underwater Acoustics Center of Excellence" in the field of underwater acoustic systems, adds significant value to naval platforms with the advanced technology underwater acoustic sonar systems it has developed. Our company also develops high-tech training simulators with the highest level of real-world simulation for the training needs of the Navy's personnel working on surface, submarine and air platforms and land facilities.
