As Bestek, we hold an important place in the development of the adhesives and tapes market, which has hundreds of different applications in dozens of sectors today. Knowing that we, as Bestek, have made a great contribution to the development of the chemical adhesives market in Turkey since 2004, makes us proud on the one hand, and on the other hand, our ability to offer innovative and solution-oriented approaches to our customers motivates us. Since our establishment, we have reached business development and sales activities in 80% of Turkey geographically.
As a company established in Ankara, we continue our activities in the Marmara Region after reaching every corner of Anatolia. We have now gained a large stakeholder base with more than 800 industrial customers. With our 4 cutting machines located in our Istanbul and Ankara offices, we are able to meet all kinds of customer demands regarding the preparation of fully automatic slice cutting, transfer, kiss-cut and die-cut tapes in the desired shape and form.
Although most of our business is in industry and manufacturing companies engaged in industrial production (B2B), we also continue our work on the consumer side (B2C). With the increasing demand in recent years, we decided to develop our investments in online sales channels and marketplaces and started to supply and sell consumer products on all platforms such as N11, Hepsiburada, Trendyol and Amazon. Moreover, we would like to share our excitement about launching our own online sales platform soon.
Our 18-year collaboration with 3M, a global leader in its field, continues to grow despite the changing market conditions and increasing competition in Turkey. In addition, taking into account the feedback and demands from our customers, we took a step towards expanding our product portfolio by making a distributorship agreement with the German company Lohmann, which is also a global manufacturer. Although the 3M product network is quite diverse, our focus is on the area we know best and where we can create the most benefit (adhesives and tapes).
For this reason, the demand for industrial adhesives and tapes, their application areas and their integration into production have always been our company's priority. From double-sided mounting tapes to single-sided repair, maintenance, restoration and masking tapes; We work with a wide range of products, from sealants (mastic, etc.) to structural adhesives such as two-component epoxy and acrylate. The most valuable part is that these products are used in Turkey's most well-known brands, in vehicles, equipment and goods that touch the lives of thousands of people every day.
The sectors we mainly serve as Bestek are defense industry, aviation, white goods, rail systems, renewable energy (especially solar panel production), advertising, metal processing, construction-building, automotive and sub-industry.
