KALEKALIP

KALEKALIP was established in Istanbul in 1969 to produce molds used in ceramic production and then ventured the defense and aviation industry, which was regarded as an innovative growth area, with the production of 22 different parts in the Stinger Missile Systems Project in 1987. For more than 30 years in the defense and aerospace industry, KALEKALIP has been the stakeholder of important global projects, contractor of national projects and the incubator center of many important projects.
In KALEKALIP, Türkiye’s first national infantry rifle (MPT-76) was designed and produced. Meeting the needs of our military and security forces with MPT76, KALEKALIP continues to take place in the inventory of the state and contributes to nationalization and localization with indigenous products. Completely designed and developed in KALEKALIP taking into account user feedbacks and needs, KALEKALIP Combat Rifle (KCR) series products (KCR556, KCR739, KCR762) have been widely used by Turkish Armed Forces and General Directorate of Security for more than 6 years.
KALEKALIP is also supplying 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher (KAGL40) to Turkish Gendarmerie, Turkish Land Forces and Turkish Naval Forces for more than 20 years.
Other in house designed, tested qualified, produced and battle proven product portfolio consists 12,7mm NATO Bolt Action Sniper Rifle (KSR50), 7.62mm NATO Designated Marksman Rifle (KMR762), 40mm Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (KGL40) and 5.56mm and 7.62mm NATO Light Machine Guns (KMG556 & KMG762).
Being in the service of Turkish Security Forces for more than 30 years, KALEKALIP is dedicated to enhance the capabilities of Armed Forces, to indigenously develop new light weapons in accordance with field needs/ feedbacks and to present state of the art technologies to the usage of National Forces.
