MED MARINE

Med Marine, a Turkish shipbuilding company and Türkiye's leading tug operator, has been providing a wide range of services in the fields of tugboats, pilotage and anchoring in Türkiye's busiest ports for more than 20 years. Med Marine's service areas include tugboat, pilotage, emergency response, rescue and debris removal, pollution prevention, ship escort and rental. Its fleet consists of ASD type and conventional tugboats ranging from 30 TBP to 70 TBP. Med Marine uses Ereğli Shipyard, one of the largest shipyards in Türkiye, to build state-of-the-art tugs and Stainless Steel (STST) IMO II type chemical/oil tankers for its core business or global customers. Med Marine has successfully completed the construction and delivery of more than 200 projects, including tugboats, chemical/oil tankers, anchorage and pilotage boats. Med Marine has the capacity to build tugboats up to +100 TBP. and mooring/work/pilot and crew boats. Med Marine has been a member of the European Tug Owners Association since 1997 and of BIMCO since 2000. Additionally, Med Marine received ISO 9001 certification by BV in January 2001. Moreover, ISO 14001:2004 and OSHAS 18001:2007 certificates were obtained in 2010.
