MED MARINE

Med Marine is a Turkish shipbuilder and maritime operator with over 30 years of experience in tugboat operations, shipbuilding, and specialized maritime services.


Operating through Ereğli Shipyard, one of Türkiye’s major shipbuilding facilities, Med Marine holds Shipyard Security Compliance and Shipyard Production Compliance certifications, authorizing the construction of naval vessels for the Turkish Military and NATO.

 
The shipyard builds advanced tugboats and specialized vessels, including ASD tugboats with up to 135 TBP, as well as pilot boats, mooring boats, crew boats, ferries, buoy tender vessels, and IMO II type chemical/oil tankers. To date, more than 200 vessels have been successfully built and delivered to international operators worldwide.

 
In addition to its shipbuilding activities, Med Marine operates a modern fleet of tugboats ranging from 30 TBP to 80 TBP, providing towage, pilotage, emergency response, salvage, pollution prevention, and firefighting services in major Turkish ports.

 
Med Marine is a member of the European Tugowners Association (ETA), International Salvage Union (ISU), and BIMCO, and operates in accordance with internationally recognized quality, safety, and environmental standards.
