About
Founded in 2008 in Malta, MostaTech Ltd. is a well-established European manufacturer of miniature fiber optic gyroscopes (FOGs) and FOG-based inertial measurement units (FOG IMUs). Our production process is built on a unique spliceless technology matured for over 35 years.
The core of our gyro products is specialty 40-micron polarisation maintaining optical fiber, allowing for the fabrication of all optical components on a single fiber length, ensuring minimal optical losses. Our facilities in Mosta Technopark covering over 3200 m2 accommodate well-equipped production units, an advanced R&D department, and specialized testing facilities. Our inertial sensors provide critical data for guidance, control and inertial navigation systems in autonomous vehicles and drones.
They are also widely used for stabilization including gimbal and camera stabilization.
