Netaş, which has been working to increase business efficiency with its competence, extensive knowledge and strong experience since 1967, continues its activities in the field of information technologies with the contributions of its R&D unit. Netaş also plays an important role in the modernization of the defense communication network in order to meet the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces.

Netaş establishes strategic business partnerships with global technology giants and develops software solutions for more than 200 global operators, in line with the need for its customers to closely follow the developments in the IT sector and use technology more efficiently. In the Bilişim500 research, where the 500 largest companies in the IT industry were evaluated, Netaş was selected as the "System Integrator of the Year" in the categories of 'Hardware' and 'IoT and M2M', 'Network Hardware', 'Service Export', 'Data Backup and Storage Hardware' with its 2017 sales revenues.
He received the "Special Award for Contribution to the Economy" in the field of "Information Service Export". According to the 2017 report of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, Netaş ranked third among telecommunication sector companies according to the total number of patent applications. Netaş was also selected as the 'most successful R&D Center in the Telecommunications sector' as a result of the performance index evaluation by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology in 2012, 2013 and 2014, and it also ranked first in the 'R&D Personnel Employment' category.
Netaş has achieved growth above its sector in the last decade; It offers solutions to its customers in its focus technologies: mobile broadband, cyber security, cloud computing, business applications and big data. Netaş offers end-to-end value-added solutions such as technology consultancy and after-sales support to institutions in a geography extending from Asia-Pacific to Turkic Republics and mainly from North African countries to the Middle East region. Among the main partners of the company, 36.95% of whose shares are traded on Borsa Istanbul (BIST), are ZTE Cooperatief U.A.
with a 48.05% share. (“ZTE”) and the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation with a 15% share.
