Koçak Petrol, which has taken its deserved place among the leading lubricant and grease producers in its geography with its quality service approach, technology-based investments, customer-oriented employees and stable growth policies, was founded in 1989 as a family company. Koçak Petrol, which started its activities with the production of lubricants consisting of a limited number of products in those years, continues to add value to the country's economy with more than 250 products and over 600 packaging varieties in the automotive and industrial fields. Production is carried out in accordance with OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 standards in our Lube Oil and Grease Blending and Filling Facility located on a total area of 14,000 m2, 4500 m2 of which is closed, in Kocaeli - Gebze.
Speedol Oil, which has been operating in the high-performance products category in the United States since 1921, has joined Koçak Petrol. With the power of 100 years of knowledge and experience, we meet the expectations of our customers who expect higher performance, more power and more durability with our fully synthetic products with ester technology, which are used especially in motor sports. Speedol, which is a Koçak Petrol brand and has a significant worldwide recognition, has a wide product range in every field from automotive to industrial, in line with the needs of both OEMs and machine manufacturers.
With our activities extending beyond the borders of our country, we offer our Speedol branded products to developed and developing export markets on four continents. In addition to our sales to domestic and export markets with our Speedol and F6 brands, we continue to provide reliable and high-quality contract manufacturing services to international and national lubricant and grease brands. In addition, we offer logistics advantages to our business partners thanks to our proximity to raw materials and the market.
Our products, which are made using superior quality base oils supplied from advanced technology refineries and high-performance additives required by today's engine and machinery technology, are offered to our customers as a result of long-term research and development studies. Speedol lubricants and greases have OEM approvals from international engine and machinery manufacturers as a result of joint work with the world's leading additive companies and OEM machinery manufacturers. We provide added value to our country's economy and offer solutions to these sectors with the special products we produce on a project basis for the defense industry, railways, maritime and aviation sectors.
Product development and testing activities are carried out with the latest technology in our Türkak-approved accredited Speedol Academy Laboratory located within our Lube Oil and Grease Blending and Filling Facility. Our experienced laboratory employees provide the most reliable services to our relevant departments and, when necessary, to our customers in terms of goods acceptance, product development, production and after-sales services, with the tests and measurements they carry out with the help of advanced technology analysis and testing devices. While our production and filling capacity increases thanks to the increasing business partnerships, we are happy to provide more employment to our region.
As a result of the high importance we attach to the environment, human, occupational and worker health, our employees are provided with continuous training and our activities continue in line with the zero accident target.
