About
Founded in Izmir by Temuçin Arbak in 1970, Tibet Makina continues to provide added value to the Turkish economy with the management of its 2nd generation. The company, which was active in areas such as Automotive and Heavy Machinery industry at the beginning of its establishment, stepped into this sector by producing swing gears domestically with the start of domestic excavator production in the early 1980s. Later, it made its entire investment in this direction and became the first domestic supplier of the Defense and Energy sector with its R&D studies.
Tibet Makina continues to contribute to localization efforts in our country, maintaining 60% of its production in the Defense industry, 40% in Wind and other sectors. Aware of how important a local and national defense industry is for our country, the company continues its R&D activities with the principle of "Doing What Has Not Been Done". This year, ARBAK Defense and Energy Systems Inc. at Celal Bayar University Teknokent.
It has established an R&D center called and continues its R&D projects here as well. Our company has been serving our Defense industry for many years with our experienced engineer staff in the design and analysis of Aluminum Wire Bearing and steel Swing gears.
