ODTÜ TEKNOKENT includes more than 380 companies actively engaged in R&D, including more than 140 defense industry companies, as well as many research centers and laboratories within METU, and as of 2010, it has clustered companies operating in the field of defense industry under the name Teknokent Defense Industry Cluster (TSSK). TSSK continues its legal entity as Teknokent Aviation Space and Security Cluster Association as of 13.09.2022. TSSK member companies are R&D companies with vertical expertise that complement each other and add value to each other's capabilities and develop new products and services for the fields of defense, aviation, homeland security and cyber security.
