About
The Marmara Research Center (MAM), located at the TÜBİTAK Kocaeli–Gebze Campus, is a research institution that plays an active role in Türkiye’s science, technology, and innovation ecosystem.
With its expertise in energy technologies, climate and life sciences, and materials and process technologies, along with its advanced research infrastructure, the Marmara Research Center designs technologies, products, and systems addressing the country’s strategic needs, conducts critical R&D projects, and transforms scientific outputs into economic value.
The Center contributes to the formulation of national science and technology policies and takes an active role in European Union research programs and international collaborations.
Through education, publication, and consultancy activities, it supports the dissemination of knowledge production, and with its laboratory infrastructure meeting international standards, it provides testing, analysis, calibration, and measurement services.
The Center aims to contribute to Türkiye’s sustainable development goals by developing solutions and technologies that transform its scientific expertise into social and economic benefit.
