Berdan Cıvata was established as an 150 m² area small workshop with 5 employees by Mr. Yunus Semsi and Senior Mechanical Engineer Hasan Semsi brothers in Tarsus, 1979.
Today, Berdan Cıvata continues it’s activities as a fully integrated fasteners manufacturer with more than 70 engineers and totally 400 qualified employees on 28.000 m² is covered totally 48.500 m² area in Tarsus-Mersin Organized Industrial Zone in Turkey.
Berdan Cıvata has hot & cold forging production facilities, heat treatment facility, coating (HDG, EG, ZF etc.) facilities, R&D center and the sector’s first ISO EN/IEC 17025 accredited test laboratory in Turkey.
Berdan Cıvata is manufacturing mostly 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9 class of high quality fasteners (bolts, nuts, studbolts, anchors, anchor cages, couplings and washers etc) for domestic and abroad markets. Berdan Cıvata is able to manufacture fasteners according to cutomized technical drawings besides of international standards (DIN, ISO, EN, ASTM, DASt, GOST, BS etc). Berdan provides these items to the customers under guarantee of ISO/EN 10204 3.1 Test Certificates.
500 Tons capacity Berdan patented Europe’s strongest tensile test machine and 30.000 N/m capacity one of the two Europe’s strongest torque friction test machine are located in Berdan’s accreditation certified test laboratory. Also, the laboratory provides 20 pcs different tests & analayses as an independent laboratory to the sector.
With quality and safety priorities, Berdan Civata has all required quality management and production sufficiency certificates in the sector. For example; ISO 9001, ISO 10002, ISO 14001, ISO 17025, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 1090, CE Certificate, TSE Certificates, GOST-R, AD 2000 W0, Ü Certificate etc.
Berdan Civata has 8 pcs patents, 3 pcs new patent applications and more than 90 pcs R&D projects. One of the patents is about hydrogen embrittlement risk. Hydrogen Embrittlement Risk was removed on Berdan 10.9, 12.9 and high strength hot-dipped galvanized products with a Berdna patented special cleaning method.
