FATİH SULTAN MEHMET VAKIF ÜNİVERSİTESİ ALÜMİNYUM TEST EĞİTİM VE ARAŞTIRMA MERKEZİ (FSMVÜ ALUTEAM)

Aluminium Test Training and Research Center, abbreviated as “ALUTEAM” at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University was born in 2011 within the scope of the project founded in Aluexpo in partnership with Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University and Entrepreneurial Aluminium Industrialists and Businesspeople Association and started its activities in 2013 with the partnership of Entrepreneurial Aluminium Industrialists and Businesspeople Association (GALSİAD) and with the support of Istanbul Development Agency (IDA). The business structure was expanded with the project partnerships of the Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association (IDDMIB) in 2015 and the Turkish Aluminum Industrialists' Association (TALSAD) in 2018. The Aluminium Test Training and Research Center Guided Project, which is supported by Istanbul Development Agency as a non-profit organization, has been successfully completed between 2015-2017. In 2018, within the scope of Istanbul Development Agency (IDA) Innovative and Creative Istanbul Financial Support Program, Aluminum Building Systems Testing and Training Laboratories (ASTEL) Project was granted support and the project complated. 
ALUTEAM, which carries out its activities as a test, education and research center, is nurtured by the efficiency of the academy's research capacity and the production experience of the business world. Necessary tests are carried out for all sectors and alloy series within the center. Training activities are developed and presented according to the needs of the sector within the scope of vocational trainings. Non-profit training for the needs of the aluminum industry is constantly held in our center. On the other hand research and development activities are carried out within the demands of the sector or the needs determined as a result of the researches carried out. In this way ALUTEAM lead the brands in the aluminum sector on high quality production methods that minimize costs and contributes to the development of new products.
With our investments in additive manufacturing technologies especially in aluminum additive manufacturing technologies our country has gained an important production and research capacity. In addition to aluminum material, various steel and industrial plastic groups can be produced with high precision. Materials and parameter development studies in traditional and advanced manufacturing technologies can also be carried out by our center researchers.
In addition with the field studies carried out within the scope of studies on energy efficiency and reduction of greenhouse gases, it is aimed to determine the energy loss rates in heating systems, to ensure energy efficiency at low cost or at the lowest cost and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions caused by inefficient use of energy.
ALUTEAM, in accordance with the “TS EN ISO 9001:2015” Quality Management System, provides services in the sector and all related sectors with the most appropriate production and analysis using international methods within the principles of confidentiality and impartiality which are bounded by qualified team. ALUTEAM Laboratories have been accredited according to TS EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 Standard as a result of the audit conducted by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK). On the other hand, under the name of EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) ALUTEAM, as a subcontractor of THY Technic Inc, provides part production services for SLS (Selective Laser Sintering production technique) on civil aviation.
