With the increasing use of autonomous systems, command and control systems, location information (GNSS), and the integration of payloads into systems for intelligence purposes, the use of technologies for collecting environmental data has also grown. These technologies, coupled with rapidly evolving cyberattack methods, pose significant threats to the security of nations and institutions. At this point, Merkür Defense, with the TURA project, aims to develop indigenous, national, and original cybersecurity solutions for systems that utilize similar infrastructures, primarily UAV systems.
Moreover, the rising scenarios of malicious use of easily accessible mini UAV platforms and the emergence of new attack methods driven by advancing technologies have demonstrated the need for innovative wearable defense systems in the tactical field. In response, Merkür Defense aims to ensure the safety of "Military Personnel," "Military Vehicles," and "Ammunition" against new battlefield tactics with the AYTAR "Wearable Tactical UAV Countermeasure System" currently under development.
