MOTA Power Systems was established in 2018 at the Eskişehir Technology Development Zone with the aim of developing specialized solutions for power system needs in the defense industry, particularly for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

MOTA operates in three distinct areas:

i) Small-sized, high-power density internal combustion engines, electric motors, generators, hybrid solutions, integrated power packages.
ii) UAV engine subsystems/accessories.
iii) Development of test systems tailored to special needs and provision of engineering services.

Erhan Bilgiç, founder of the company,  led the establishment of the team that successfully developed Turkiye's most significant UAV engine projects under the umbrella of TEI (Tusaş Engine Industries Inc.) between 2008-2018. He spearheaded the development of the first UAV engines for the Turkiye. In September 2018, he left his position at TEI to establish MOTA Power Systems with the goal of developing innovative and competitive products in line with the country's needs. MOTA Power Systems aims to become an indispensable partner for domestic needs in critical engine accessory systems and small-sized power systems in the Defense and Aerospace sector, while also contributing high added value to the national economy through the export of innovative and competitive products.

Products:
•    Integrated Propulsion System (for fixed-wing UAV platforms in the 30-60 kg class)
•    MALE-class UAV Alternator (compatible with high-altitude conditions, high power-to-weight ratio)
•    Propeller Governor (an Electro-Hydromechanical Controller used in UAVs)

Services:
•    Maintenance, repair, and provision of technical service for propulsion systems of small UAV systems.
•    Development of custom test systems tailored to specific needs.
•    Modifications of UAV engines aimed enhancing altitude performance.
