TAAC Aerospace Technologies (TAAC) was established in July 2019 as a joint venture between Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI) and ALTINAY Defense Technologies Inc. The company's objective is to develop critical indigenous Motion and Flight Control Systems, Landing Gear Systems, and Test Systems in accordance with aviation standards.
TAAC initiated engineering activities in 2019 with the HÜRJET Iron Bird development project and currently collaborates with domestic and international stakeholders on various critical projects, including the National Combat Aircraft KAAN and other platforms.
Headquartered at the Technopark Istanbul campus in Kurtköy, Istanbul, TAAC operates production lines, warehouses, and R&D offices in different locations, covering an infrastructure area of over 12,000m².
TAAC holds the AS9100D certification and is also in possession of National and NATO Classified Facility Security Certificates. Furthermore, in the field of aviation, it adheres to internationally recognized standards and approaches such as ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015, SAE ARP 4754, SAE ARP 4761, SAE EIA 649, ISO/IEC/IEEE 12207:2017, RTCA DO-178, RTCA DO 254, RTCA DO-160, SAE ARP 1281, 14 CFR Part 21 / EASA Part 21, and others, within the scope of system/subsystem and equipment design and development processes.
