Kale Arge

Kale Group is one of the largest industrial conglomerates in Turkey. Established in 1957 by one of the pioneering industrialists of Turkey, Dr. Ibrahim Bodur, Kale has its main business in the production of ceramic tiles (largest factory in the world under one roof) and mining, along with its technology and services group having several very successful technology-oriented companies.
Kale Arge, being a subsidiary of Kale Group (%100 Kale owned company), is in turbine engines development and production business, mainly focusing on attritable turbojet engines with compact designs and very high thrust to weight ratios. Kale Arge engines KTJ-3200S, KTJ-3200A and KTJ-1750 do power Turkish missile systems – SOM, Atmaca and Çakır respectively. 
Kale Arge, located in İstanbul / Türkiye, has currently 250 employees including design, test, stress, aerothermal, manufacturing engineers and project team leaders. 
Kale Arge’s indigenous engines (KTJ-Series engines) are now available for the international market. Company displays its products in widely recognized fair and exhibitions, like Saha Expo, in order to reach out to international OEMs worldwide.
