Mersin Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone; Originally established in 1993 on an area of 380 hectares with 35 companies, our region operates on 3 (three) different Regions on 823.5 hectares as of 2024, 4. Infrastructure works for the region are planned to be started in 2024 and infrastructure and superstructure works are planned to be completed in the first quarter of 2025. 4. Simultaneously with the zone 5. The designated area is 260 ha. the location selection process of the area with a surface area is ongoing. Our region which is a mixed OIZ; although there are mainly steel construction, food, plastic, machinery, wood (furniture), chemical, glass sectors, it continues its activities in 14 separate sectors. We have additional Area investments, MTOSB 2. The district was established in 2010, MTOSB 3. The region was put into operation as of 2021 and our region, which was 380 hectares when it was established, has actively reached an area of 756 hectares in the last 10 years by incorporating another 376 hectares into the Mersin Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone. 4, where infrastructure works will begin. With the full operation of the region, there are Iron and Steel Industry, Food Industry, Plastic Industry, Chemical Industry, Machinery Industry and Glass Industry as the main sectors in Mersin Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone, which will continue to operate with approximately 32,000 people employed in 274 plots.

Mersin Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone, which is located in an extremely advantageous location in terms of logistics opportunities such as Mersin Port, airline, highway, makes it possible to export to every region of the world. 

Mersin Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone is one of the 4 additional area investments. All parcels in the region have been allocated to investors.  4. MTOSB 5, another additional investment area that has been started to be prepared simultaneously with the region. Location selection studies of the region are ongoing. MTOSB 5, which is planned as an area of 260 hectares. With the commissioning of the region, new employment areas will be created.
