MERTSAV started its business life in 1994 with the production of shotguns. After 1997, it has worked for the defense industry. With more than 20 years of experience, strong design and engineering capability, state-of-the-art machinery and equipment, it is a company that has done important work in the defense industry.

MERTSAV has become the largest supplier to MKE Arms Factory for more than 20 years by making the most critical main parts of weapons such as MG-3, G-3, MP-5, HK-33, Grenade Launcher. It has often been the sole supplier of critical parts such as barrels and mechanisms.

It has produced and delivered to the MKE Arms Factory the main parts of the MPT-76 and MPT-55 weapons, which are projects of the Presidency of Defense Industries, such as the lower receiver, upper receiver, handguard, stock tube, picatin rail, mechanism and barrel.

For the first time in Turkey, it has indigenized the gas rifles used in response to social incidents with its own design. It has prevented imports with both technical and price advantages over its counterparts in the world. It has supplied more than ten thousand units to various units of the Turkish National Police, saving the Directorate General of Security millions of dollars, and has been the sole supplier of the Directorate General of Security for five years.

Most recently, it has delivered 1,000 units of its indigenously designed 40 mm TAC-40 sub-machine gun model and 1,000 units of its MMG556 model, a light machine gun with a left-side mayon and magazine feed, which was produced domestically for the first time and entered the inventory, to the EGM Police Special Operations Directorate.
In addition, 722 units of the 5.56 mm Infantry Rifle designed by the Special Forces Command to be used in special operations in many harsh climatic conditions were delivered.

Today, in line with our studies on the domestic and foreign markets for finished rifles (infantry rifles, sniper rifles, machine guns) and pistols (automatic and semi-automatic pistols), it has been determined that the Turkish Armed Forces, Police, Gendarmerie and Special Forces demand domestically produced weapons with high performance, and that there is a serious market for these weapons produced for military or personal use in many countries, especially in the United States of America. For this reason, in order to be able to take part in this market, first of all, pistols in different calibers (0.40, 0.45, 9mm), 9mm machine pistols, single and automatic shot rifles in different calibers (5.56mm, 7.62mm, .300, .308, .338), rifles in different calibers (7.62mm,

0.223, 0.308, 0.338) sniper rifles with our own designs and then expanding our product range to have a strong position.
