Beginning in 1998 with machining and mechanical system design activities, the company expanded its scope to include industrial product design, 3D modeling and mechanical analysis simulations, rapid prototyping technologies, and non-traditional manufacturing methods. Additionally, the company has conducted process development work in electronic device production systems and provided subcontracting services to the electronics manufacturing sector.

In 2008, the company’s academic and commercial expertise was consolidated under the ROBUST DESIGN umbrella; it began contributing to the manufacturing industry by providing professional solutions in new product design, device production, and manufacturing consulting. Currently, the company provides industrial product design and development services in sectors such as medical devices, E-Mobility, and industrial electrical and electronics, and approaches product development projects with a philosophy of comprehensive solutions under a single umbrella.
