TAAC Aviation Technologies (TAAC) was established in July 2019 as a joint venture between Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. and ALTINAY Defense Technologies Inc. The company’s objective is the domestic development of critical Motion and Flight Control Systems, Landing Gear Systems, and Test Systems in accordance with aviation standards.
TAAC began its engineering activities in 2019 with the HÜRJET Iron Bird development project and, as of today, is carrying out various critical projects—primarily the National Combat Aircraft KAAN and other platforms—in collaboration with domestic and international partners.
With its headquarters located at the Teknopark Istanbul campus in Kurtköy, Istanbul, TAAC has an infrastructure spanning over 5,000 m², including test laboratories and engineering offices in various locations.
TAAC holds AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certifications, as well as National and NATO Classified Facility Security Clearances. Additionally, in its operations, TAAC adheres to internationally recognized standards and methodologies such as ECSS, CMMI Level 3, IEEE-12207, IEEE-15288, MIL-STD-973, and ANSI/EIA 649.
