Established in 2009 by a decision of the Council of Ministers as Turkey’s youngest development agency, the Ankara Development Agency carries out pioneering activities aimed at Ankara’s sustainable development. With a focus on participation and the goal of mobilizing local potential, the Ankara Development Agency prepares Ankara-focused regional plans within the framework of national development goals and provides financial and technical support for projects developed to address the key objectives and priorities outlined in these plans. It aims to transform the city into a hub by promoting the unique investment environment and business opportunities offered by the capital, Ankara, to both domestic and foreign investors. Through its urban branding initiatives, the Agency aims to position Ankara as a globally recognized destination. Operating with an innovative, impartial, and solution-oriented approach, the Ankara Development Agency works toward a dynamic Ankara that makes the most efficient use of its resources through activities grounded in social, economic, and cultural development.
