SAHA MİHENK

SAHA MİHENK is the National Aviation Industry Cluster established under SAHA Istanbul with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye. The cluster aims to strengthen Türkiye’s indigenous and national production capabilities in the defence and aerospace sectors, providing companies with a strategic development platform across quality standards, certification infrastructure, supply chain integration, and global competitiveness.

The primary objective of SAHA MİHENK is to enhance the integration of industry stakeholders into both national and international aerospace ecosystems, accelerate quality-driven transformation in production and design processes, and support companies in accessing global markets. In this context, the cluster develops multi-stakeholder collaboration models across manufacturing, design, R&D, quality management, certification, export development, and industrialization.

In line with SAHA Istanbul’s role as the Regional Authority of the International Aerospace Quality Group in Türkiye, SAHA MİHENK contributes to companies’ compliance with international quality standards, particularly AS9100, while promoting a sustainable, traceable, and competitive production culture across the sector.

Bringing together public institutions, prime contractors, universities, and industrial organizations under a unified development framework, SAHA MİHENK aims to enhance institutional capabilities within the aerospace industry, strengthen certification capacity, and deepen high value-added production infrastructure in line with Türkiye’s National Technology Initiative.
