Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation, which is a State Economic Enterprise within the scope of the Decree Law No. 233 on Public Economic Enterprises dated 08/06/1984; It was established within the framework of development plans and annual programs, in order to plan and economically produce and market all kinds of weapons, ammunition, explosives, machinery, equipment and material manufacturing capacities in the field of manufacturing industry, according to defense and civil defense needs, taking into account the principles of profitability and efficiency, and its fields of activity are shown below: In addition to this duty defined in its main status, the Institution, headquartered in Ankara, has also tasked itself with increasing the domestic contribution margin in our country's Defense Industry and producing new products for the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces. MKE Institution continues its activities in line with these goals; By pioneering many sectors such as iron and steel, chemistry and machinery manufacturing, it has created an EKOL in the development of our country's industry and has taken on the LOCOMOTIVE role in our industry.
